Description
TURNADO bits represent a new generation of snaffle bits. The joint has been angled 45° forwards to ensure even pressure distribution and avoid palate pressure. The bit arms of conventional single-jointed bits are of different lengths for manufacturing reasons, which always exerts slightly more pressure on one side. You avoid this problem of uneven pressure distribution by using a TURNADO bit. It is also suitable for horses with slight tongue issues.
The twist is marked by a lightly roughened surface (sandblasting) of the mouthpiece in the middle section of the bit.
The classic single-jointed snaffle is ideal as a bradoon or as an everyday bit for a wide range of uses.
